Our Journey of Faith

Greetings in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

In the 20th century, a group of believers from the Indian state of Kerala came to the profound realization that the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the consecrated life experienced by the apostles in the first century were not only true but attainable. Some of their descendants, along with others who came to the Pentecostal faith from non-Christian backgrounds through a clear divine calling, were led by God to European nations, including Ireland.

Compelled by this divine mandate, they gathered together in unity and fervent prayer, which led to a powerful move of the Holy Spirit in their midst.

Pentecostal worship in Ireland began in September 2005 in a small house in Dublin, the capital city. This humble beginning marked the birth of the Ireland Pentecostal Assembly (IPA) as a local church. As the church stood firmly for Pentecostal doctrine, it began to draw believers from various denominational backgrounds. The worship soon outgrew the small house and moved to a rented facility to accommodate the growing congregation.

What started with just a few faithful believers has, by God’s grace, grown into a vibrant community of around 150 believers who gather regularly to worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth.

Vision Statement

As Mathew 28: 19-20 says, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you”. We commit ourselves to be used as a weapon in God’s hand to rescue, recover and restore the people from their sinful nature and guide them to experience the presence and power of the Almighty God.

As the steward of God, I urge leading our church family across the waters of life, directing us with God’s wisdom and grace, as we journey together towards Him who is able to keep us from stumbling and to present us before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy.
